EDRG 3321 Lit. for Public Schools

Hello everyone, I am just getting used to navigating this blog.  Please be patient with me if I mess up.  Reading is a very important part of leaning for all children and adults.  "Living Literature" is what we do everyday.  I love to read books with my kids, I find it very envigorating.  I like to see their excitement and enthusiasiam.   A new idea that I will begin to use is the online books.  A couple web pages I found are www.magickeys.com/books  and  http://www.abcfastphonics.com/. On magickeys once at a book it is easy for kids to navigate themselves.  The ABCFastPhonics is great because it has sounds of phonics.  I am excited to learn how much reading impacts a childs life, and for my kids I will make a reading night for us to share a book.  I have a small library at home of Disney and Dr.Seuss books that I've collected over the years.  My kids are getting older and still love to read them.
