EDRG 3321 Lit. for Public Schools *Pickett*

I have found a couple of authors that I would like to share with the class. These authors also write poetry. One is Lewis Carrol, he was a victorian poet. He is famous for his works: "The Walrus and the Carpenter", "Jabberwocky" and many others.
Another author I found was Ana Monnar. She is an award winning teacher and author. She is a bilingual author. I think its important for the bilingual teachers to start reading bilingual books to be prepared for the students. She wrote "Poetry from Planet Earth", and "La Ley del embudo,The Law of the Funnel: A Bilingual Story"
A website I found interesting was www.poetry4kids.com. On this website it allows the student to play games with their own poems. Another is www.poetry-online.org/childrenspoetry. You can't just click on one idea because each bit of information makes you want to keep going on to the next.
