EDRG 3321 Lit. for Public Schools *Pickett* Nov 23,2009

  For our class on  Monday there were two presentations.  One was a readers theatre and one was a lesson on recyclying, which was ours.  I really enjoyed the readers theatre about the sun and the moon.  The story is great for kids to imagine how the sun and the moon are so high above us.  The students did a great job and you could tell they enjoyed putting the presentation together.  I saw really good team work and overall it was great.  On our presentation about recycling I really enjoyed the movie and the posters we created to demonstrate how to recycle.  We used actual items so the student will say hey I didn't know I could recycle that, and they can do it at home.  We used actual pictures of more items they could recycle and the activity was fun for the students to do in the classroom.  I hope to take many things I have learned about different ways to present into my classroom.
