EDRG 3321 Lit. for Public Schools *Pickett*
The speech from Maya Angelou was truely inspiring. What I appreciated from her speech was that words make our world, our everyday lives. I felt like she gave me a different perspective on life, like my mind was broadend to another huge space that I never have used before. Its amazing how much one person can live through and learn so much. She is a true inspiration to all people and espically to women. Her words are truly on another level. I have heard about her but I have never read her works, I will soon. I feel lucky to have heard her words because I have another way to view things in my mind. Those who have not listened to her words or read them will maybe never see an opening in their mind like I did.

I agree with you on the insprational words that she saidon her speech.
ReplyDeleteI too found her speech very inspirational. She is truly a remarkable woman. Those of us who heard her speech are very fortunate. I particularly liked when she said why do we have to stop at being a master of one thing, why can't we be a master of many things.
