A narrative is a type of writing that tells a story. The narrative can be fiction or non-fiction. A narrative has a begining, middle and end. It describes a sequence of events. In a narrative you have characters and a plot to the story. It is told from a particular point of view, has details and verbs. Good description of Narrative. I like your examples of narrative. I know my own children loved to read the Goosebumps books.
